Just rescind the tariffs, do UBI, and fund it with a wealth tax. Sadly not gonna happen until we have a president and more legislators who aren't funded by people like Musk, though.

Of course he is. There isn't a single bad idea to come out of this administration, especially those that hurt Alaska and Alaskans, that Sullivan isn't enthusiastically on board with.

Happy birthday!!

I think that would be a good idea. I'm okay with paying a small monthly amount so everyone has access to checkups and screenings. It's for the public good.

Fetterman is like the disappointment that just keeps on giving...

I felt really bad; but even more so, angry that the company I was paying was going to be so miserable to deal with for anyone who had to bill them.

I know even my dentist has to deal with this. I remember the staff member in charge of billing putting her face in her hands when she found out who my new dental insurance was through; apparently they are VERY difficult to get to pay for things they're supposed to pay for.

Fingers crossed. Otherwise, the future is looking pretty grim for most of us.

Cool, cool, let's put even MORE people in jail for something super minor. Great idea.
November 11, 2025 at 12:21 AM
That's pretty reasonable. $2K a year gives some people sticker shock, but if that was ALL I had to pay, that'd actually be a great deal. That's less than the ~$200/month I've had to pay into most of my employers' plans.

The Oligarchy. There's a reason Dems who challenge the status quo and talk about making life better for us poverty-stricken normies get the cold shoulder from most of the party. Just look at how they treated Mamdani.

Would you recommend this film or one of the older versions to someone seeing it as a film for the first time?
