I already knew from the description that I have to read this book.

I do get it at least in part. I quit smoking years ago and since them I have situations I really can't be anywhere near to smoke. Especially in the morning. I get sometime nauseous if someone walks in front of me while smoking.

*smoke getting into..
September 5, 2025 at 11:38 AM
That sounds incredibly frustrating. Is the smoke into your room?

Yup, they make the big money with it (and don't pay taxes), while people pay the price for it, literally: tinyurl.com/4hdptmty And on top of that it has been proven that AI makes people more stupid. I know some that have shifted their entire written communication to AI. Totally bonkers.
Eye-popping electric bills come due as price of AI revolution

isn't attractive. Beside those companies don't care about using AI to research more sustainable technologies or something like that. They prefer throwing out all the luingists that were creating language courses and let AI do a shitty (but cheaper) job instead. It's frustrating af.

The problem is that we (our governments) let the big companies get away with everything. We could certainly build more sustainable server centers, using alternative energy sources, the warmth produced could for example be used for district heating. But that would go on cost of the profit, so it

Absolutely this. Even a small wonky doodle can bring joy into your day. We are giving up one of the best things humans can and always wanted to do instead of demanding that AI gets used to make our life easier.
