Researchers from Osaka University, Leibniz IPHT and @uni-jena.de, have found a way: by freezing living cells with millisecond precision. A software from Jena adds spatial depth, turning frozen snapshots of life into vivid 3D views of dynamic cellular processes.

In #RUnfAST, we're developing a Raman sensor with industry & research partners that can analyze multiple urine samples at once and detect potential antibiotic resistance 🦠💊.
🏥 This could help doctors quickly find the right treatment in the future.

In #RaMon, Torsten Frosch's team is developing a miniaturized Raman measurement system. It will enable the analysis and monitoring of complex gas mixtures in the air. 🌖 The IM-2 mission to the Moon’s South Pole starts today, with sensors from Jena on board – developed and manufactured in our Competence Center for Micro- and Nanotechnologies. The sensors are designed to measure the extremely low temperatures on the Moon’s surface over great distances.
