Yesterday I sat down to do some eye studies! I used to struggle so bad with drawing eyes & kinda hated doing them, but yesterday I actually really enjoyed doing these!

A digital painting of my dragon character. It’s design is based on a Northern Pike, ( a common fresh water fish in the northern hemisphere ), and a British otter. This is a head and shoulder drawing. His main colour is a purple brown. He has a cream underbelly and cream spot markings on his back. His fins are a warm orange to ochre yellow ombre effect. He has a turquoise eye. He has stylised catfish like whiskers on his face. As a character from my fantasy dragon world, he is wearing his favourite teal scarf. Around him are some generic aquatic plants. The background is a blurred suggestion of grey river rocks. I am most proud of the lighting effect I got on this piece, which I am having difficulty describing. Any positive feedback, tips or suggestions for improving Alt Text descriptions of art are welcome.
