I would say give it a try! It's good for pick up and play and if you have ps plus premium and cloud streaming you can do that through it as well.
And as long as you're somewhere with good WiFi you can play it away from home easily

It's not so much that but more because it's bigger you feel a bit more strain on your hands (or at least I do lol) but also some buttons are different and the touchpad works differently too.

I think the only thing is getting used to handling it, because it is wide it can be awkward to hold, plus getting used to the different controls compared to a PS5 controller. But once you're used to it, it's fine
