It doesn’t make much of a picture yet, but I’m creating a cassoulet with Mexican flavors. Chilies, chorizo, chicken, pork, and spices. So far the flavors are fantastic. Of course the beans are from @ranchogordo.bsky.social

Before and after. My house smells wonderful. I rubbed up some heritage pork bones in miso, tomato paste, and chili garlic sauce and roasted them for tonight’s ramen. Just started the broth 😋

Took this to dinner with close friends last night. The magnum aged slowly and the wine paired beautifully with duck and lamb at Slanted Door Napa. 😋
