Decided this year creating new traditions is something I'm keen for. My Nan did *christmas cooking* for the extended family but when she passed away (mid 80s) early & tragically, it stopped. Mum & I have started this year. She's nearly 80. I'm 55. Our first rum ball is a success I think.

Have been in Cairns for the past 4 weeks, and this morning is the first proper rain. It woke me up at 6am, so loud and heavy. Probably not the start of the wet season yet, but definitely a taste of what's to come. 💦💦
