Increasing woodland cover to 19% to help reach net-zero could change the biogenic emissions from UK woodlands. @treeswithhazel.bsky.social’s latest research shows the potential scale of change by 2050 associated with different tree species mixes.

Last year we planted #GairWood, a >60,000 tree research woodland in the north of England. Lots of our team and collaborators are now studying it as it grows!
