Followed players to begin with (hence the LeBron mention) as I had no allegiance to any American city/state but upon getting into a friendship group with other NFL fans around 2016/17, I ended up picking the 49ers to support because they won the SuperBowl in 1990, which was the year I was born.

Being from the UK, I never really followed any other sports in this country, such as Rugby (Wigan Warriors being closest) or Cricket (Lancashire). High school opened my eyes to basketball, which led me to the NBA and then the NFL.
