Well yeah, it's super about the money but also we don't want to be accountable to anyone who isn't elected.

Reporter - If you used the notwithstanding clause top avoid increasing funding, aren't you admitting education is underfunded?

I really hate these school board-shaming propaganda emails from Paul Calandra. "You expect better results for your children, and so do I."
You've been in power seven years. Your "back-to-basics" stuff has only marginally improved EQAO scores? Your answer is a new "advisory body"? On you.

🚨BREAKING!🚨

The NDP revealed yet another real estate deal involving Sam Mraiche and seemed to raise concerns he was might have been given the heads up to buy the building by someone in government!

If you watch 2 minutes today, make this it!

Remember Walkerton and the changes since to ensure water safety?

“Municipalities run drinking water systems under strict rules created after the Walkerton scandal in 2,000, when contaminated water killed seven people and sickened more than 2,000.”

No privatization of our water!

Trump's approval ratings are tanking. He's flailing on the economy. Even Republicans in Congress are beginning to revolt against him. He's not all powerful.

A tyrant can exercise tyranny only insofar as the objects of his tyranny continue to allow it. Remember this.

U.S. companies are moving here for a reason and more will follow.

U.S. businesses have relocated operations north of the border, citing “policy changes and regulatory instability” in the U.S., and a more favourable business climate in Canada. 🇨🇦

Demolishing the East Wing of the White House before finalizing plans for what will be built above its ruins is a near-perfect metaphor for Trump's approach to economic policy. The only difference is the wrecking crew doesn’t claim the rubble is evidence of unprecedented growth.

An optimistic take. Not sure I share it, but Max is always a smart voice.
Mark Carney managed to trade a pipeline that will never get built for meaningful progress on industrial carbon pricing and electricity interties — both of which will get more wind and solar built.

This is how our government has been corrupted:

1) Donors give huge sums to elect politicians to office
2) Elected officials rewrite rules in the donors' favor
3) Donors make huge profit
4) Repeat

We must get big money out of politics.

It is the root of our dysfunction.
