Champions Surrey start against Essex at Chelmsford so always a good time to remember this. It was my first time there after stopping after school at Valentine's Park and most people went after Essex were all out. I hung on and saw one of the most incredible innings ever. Happy days...

Good news about Charlotte Edwards. Thought she might need a bit of tempting away from her work around the world as well as at home, so it's a positive that ECB must have been prepared to offer a decent package to compensate rather than going for a cheaper option. Best of luck Lotte! #EnglandWomen
