I challenge all federal legislators to volunteer anonymously for 6 days in 2026 at a food bank or homeless shelter. You get bonus points if you apply and work as a substitute teacher in public schools. No cameras, no special name tags, no special jobs. Just meet people.

This is disgusting, and Nick Fuentes’ views have no business being part of any national platform. People like him are poorer for their bigotry and don’t even know it.

OMG—I continue to be shocked by our governor, but I should not be. It’s being reported on the morning news in Houston that Abbott says he will impose a 100% tariff on anyone moving to Texas from New York. What the hell does that even mean? He can’t do it, of course, but he humiliates us daily.

This is from Heather Cox Richardson last night. While it’s not the worst thing Vought is doing, it shows exactly how he works—just keep twisting that knife. He is a psychopath.

Of course. As if Texans do not have other problems. Here Paxton goes spending our tax money again on something idiotic just to brown nose.

The fact that the planned ballroom is nearly twice the size of the existing White House perfectly reflects Trump’s priorities. His vanity is twice as important to him than the entire nation.

Clear Lake, TX, is not where you expect to find hundreds of people showing up for No Kings, but it was a great turn out! And unlike protests earlier in the year, I did not not see a single counter protester or anyone flip us off. I feel like a tide is turning!

Since it is now perfectly legal for ICE to profile based on looks, neighborhood, accent, etc, I have a question: has anyone heard of any raids of the condos Russians bought from the Trump family? I wonder if they all have their paperwork in order?

Some good news: the guy near me who used to rotate utterly obnoxious Trump propaganda on a piece of plywood propped in his yard has downgraded to a small MAGA sign. Also, a friend who was never MAGA but was R asked if I have seen the “disgusting” ICE recruitment commercials.

I addition to the horrific fact that hundreds of girls and women were trafficked by Epstein, it’s mind boggling that so many people knew something and did not speak up. Are people with wealth ever held accountable?
