A space news reporter obviously needs a stylish headset

And this one is made of random junk in my house. Headband, boba straw, food box, felt, cotton, and fiberfill fluff. The mic is also detachable with a magnet to make it easier to travel with. It's comfy!

Kinda funky futuristic jetpack backpack

The jetpack is a backpack with 1/2" furniture foam for the rockets covered in the rest of the fabric from my skirt. The backpack is lined with glitter space fabric and had pockets! The zipper is hidden by the top of the jetpack.

Do androids dream of electric sheep?

I've gotten distracted again. I've wanted to make the twins since the original NieR game came out.

So I started working on the pair, thinking that I could complete both by Kumoricon but lol, I love details too much and I'm not capable of crunching. #cosplay

Progress on Ulala. There is so much interfacing and crinoline net and horsehair in this outfit to give it that gravity defying futuristic sci-fi look. Even the boots stand up on their own

I summon Dark Magician Girl to the dress form!

The dress is done (I'll do the brooch later). Everything is removable. And Imean everything. The skirt and cape have snap tape and all the other pieces have 1/2" snaps. The corset top has light boning and a front zipper.

Sometimes you need to take apart a fabric flower bouquet.

I bought a bouquet of purple flowers at Michael's for the headpiece, but i wasn't sure how I wanted to put it together. Then it hit me. Just so it the same as the leaf hips!

So I cut flowers in half and sewed them to felt over floral wire.
All images are different views of the same headpiece. Purple flowers expand and flow over a red wig with green wire. At the bottom hanging a few flowers sewn together. The white is the wig head.

350 mini roses later....

Ivy has all these spots up the skirt hem and sleeve. I wasn't sure how i wanted to add them, but this is the last of the forest. Roses obviously!

I bought two packs, about 350, put on some good TV, and nearly a week later, spots! It's fun to touch!

I've used every leaf that I could find in the house.

For real. The hip leaves on Ivy's dress needed more than the garland I bought, so I salvaged more leaves from other bunches I had.

It's amazing how this cheap leaf ribbon looks good when it's sewn down to the fabric. #cosplay #dccomics

I'm indulging myself and making Poison Ivy.

Dress is made of a rayon bedsheet and a table runner so far. Dress and flowers are both dyed using Dye-na-flow

I feel like a forest goddess. I had 3 hummingbirds circle me while talking pics, trying to figure out if I'm was food.

Loki is complete!

I've changed a few things including adding a halter to the bodysuit and changing clips in the bangs to make them sit flatter. Also added the hairpiece which is attached to the ponytail clip with elastic plus bracelets made of furniture foam.

Loki got her hair did!

This is my Wedding Peach wig, so I didn't want to permanently alter it. So I made a clip on that also pulls the bangs up to hide them! After some trial and error and a lot of crimping, I have finished the styling!

Entire town is out of cell service and internet. Thank goodness for libraries! Cozied up in a corner by the audio books and worked in a quiet little nook.

I got some full photos to submit to Rose City and got a few fun ones with my tripod dog Noelle who really just wanted to sunbathe. She's not afraid of me in cosplay so it was fun to get a few silly pics

Accessories update!

The thigh emblems, belt, and shoes are done! I tried something new and used taco and ice cream sandwich boxes as the base shape under spandex. And that makes for some amazing durable shapes!

I'm getting close to finishing!
