Meet LDC online exhibitor & fair organiser Lana Lê – aka woolypear – is an illustrator based in London, known for her 60-second portraits. Currently, she’s drawing a graphic memoir about a birthmarked war refugee. As a committee member for LDComics, Lana manages the social media.

“destinationplutoo” - Arushi - creates bold, vibrant illustrations filled with humor and heart. Based in India and a graduate of Kingston School of Art, London, she uses comics and design to spark joy, inspire creativity, and bring people closer through storytelling.

Meet Emma Burleigh - who won the 2018 LDComics Award for best graphic novel in progress. Her LDComics online fair book “The Foundling Hospital” is an excerpt from that winning entry. Emma has self-published zines, contributed to comics anthologies, and collaborated with writers and poets.

Nicola is UK based multi-award-winning graphic novelist and scholar. She co-runs The Grange Projects.
Sally is London based artist working with performance, sculpture, drawing and animation.

Meet LDC online fair exhibitor AJ O’Neill - a sober queer Irish artist/storyteller. They have published two comics The Kid In The Cave and Hole and drew/lettered a story for ReLive’s Coming Home 2 Anthology. Other work includes concept art for Netflix and a musical, Unicorn, coming soon!

Meet LDC online fair exhibitor Rikke Hollænder - a Danish comic artist, sporadic chainsaw wielder and emerging songwriter. With only two larger comics in her back catalogue, it’s hard to pinpoint any repeating trends in her work. Perhaps that is the trend. She enjoys mixing media and ideas.

Meet LDC online fair exhibitor Julie Gieseke, who lives on the rugged coast of Northern California and spends her time, working and making art by drawing and writing. She has written a visual memoir “There Are Worse Things Than Being Alone,” and is working on a second visual novel, “No Wonder.”

Meet LDC online fair exhibitor Chris Shepherd - a British writer, graphic novelist and filmmaker known for his innovative blend of live-action and animation. Born in Liverpool in 1967, he has received multiple accolades, including BAFTA nominations and a British Independent Film Award.

Meet LDC online fair exhibitor Agathe Montagnon - a Surrey-based illustrator. She loves drawing cartoons inspired by her experience of living in the UK. This is her debut comic about life as a French expat, with observational drawings she has been compiling since moving to the UK seven years ago
