Live for deep snow/cool summers
I'm a runner & someone who's worked on clean air/climate issues for decades. VT DEC: Wildfire smoke pollutants can cause an array of health effects and “these recurrent episodes of wildfire smoke are a new and serious risk for Vermont air quality.” How is it we aren't all demanding climate action?
Canada is experiencing their second worst wildfire season on record, and smoke from these fires can be carried many thousands of miles.

On August 7, 2025, New England and Eastern Canada were enveloped in smoke that had traveled from Central Canada, impacting the air quality for millions. (1/5)

When is enough enough? Trump’s tariffs are hiking prices on raw materials for transmission while utilities try to keep up with data centers exponential demand. Bloomberg NEF found 64% of generation to meet this demand will come from fossil fuels. We must stop moving backwards! #climateaction

Trying to understand the Net Zero Banking Alliance's (NBZA) shift to less stringent standards for reducing the financed emissions from high-carbon sectors. Moving from requirements to recommendations does little to help keep us from warming above 1.5C or reaching net zero by 2050.

The top 1% evade $163 billion in taxes per year — enough to end homelessness, hunger, and pay for universal childcare.

👆🏻 This is the crime wave we should be talking more about.

The largest planned AI & crypto data centers are expected to consume the same power as 5M homes. Under Trump, coal will power this increased power demand. S. 1475, introduced in Congress last week, would require a fee if the center exceed a new federal emission standards. Call your legislators!
