LCI had a CAP and WIC and SNAP drive today it was great not sure what kind of poundage we got but the cash donations just flowed in. We did over $1000 cash which is what they need the most.

Today’s No KINGS March in Longview Wa was a huge success. I would say maybe 3000 ppl showed up for democracy( but I didn’t count 😊

LCI went to the Union Labor Day Picnic in Kalama. It was a great turnout. Lotta fun games for the kids plus they played bingo had a great barbecue with ice cream and even beer .also a raffle table that we didn’t stay for I sure hope I didn’t win 😆 😆

LCI took our school supplies. We got yesterday over to the Link in LV.
These wonderful volunteers from Red Canoe will be packing all these backpacks up with school supplies
We ended up with $500 in cash which will be matched along with our poundage. I am excited to see what that turns out to be.

LCI had another day of community action. We did a school supply drive in front of Fred Meyer’s in 3 hrs we took in $400 & who knows how many lb but I do KNOW it was a lot 😂

LCI had a wonderful community event today here in LV at
Sams Mini Golf
we got around 65 ppl and we paid for everybody’s entry fee. It was so much fun. ppl that hadn’t reserved a ticket came & were amazed & shocked to find that we were paying theirs. They were so appreciative. It was really nice

Sams Mini Golf

Sue Becky & I went to our LCI sisters celebration of life today for Carla Reisig Tolle which happened to be just before our monthly LCI meeting
I thought that was kind of serendipity
She was a hard-core gun activist her grandson was shot and killed by a friend which took us to Olympia frequently
