A few interesting lichens and ferns from a hike over the weekend.
Lettuces are starting to look a bit more substantial & modified Kratky jar herbs are getting bigger. The cilantro was large enough to take a couple of leaves to sprinkle on lunch. Mini peppers were an afterthought; rescued seeds from scraps destined for the compost bin. #hydroponics

Spotted these lichens while on a hike yesterday. Looked up a bit more about the cups and read that they are reproductive structures called apothecia.

Italics would also be nice to finally see somewhere because science and the arts legitimately utilize them grammatically, but maybe text formatting is problematic since no SMS type platform has it.
