People can challenge the concept of ‘pregnant men’ without hating anyone else in the least. I don’t believe for one instant that 50% of Americans are full of hate. But they have the right not to agree with concepts that are alien to them and are not settled by any means

You do it by winning hearts and minds. But hectoring them and calling them names will only ever get you Trump and that will hurt trans ppl even more. You really need to reframe the narrative. Your language is part of the problem

This isn’t about that well worn stuff. The issue we are discussing is how can we stop alienating the majority of ordinary ppl who don’t have a dog in the race but are frightened into voting for a felon by talk of ‘pregnant men’ etc

Look most ordinary ppl don’t aim to be ‘allies’ nor have they ever met a trans person. They don’t have a dog in the race but if it’s a choice between someone who tells you that men can be pregnant and the other guy, they will choose the other guy, even a felon, because to them you sound mad
