Instead of dipping I prefer to lay chicken nuggets out flat and squeeze an adequate amount of sauce on top of each one.

For 20 years I've been the sole member of my family who didn't need glasses and I'm surprised I lasted this long.
I have been noticing some degradation lately so I'm honestly a little excited to get them.

Finally started booking our postponed honeymoon trip to Japan. We originally hoped to go in the spring of 2020 but COVID kinda ruined those plans.
Instead it's now our honeymoon and to celebrate our 5 year anniversary.

Our NYE tradition is to "Smash in the new year". Which is exactly what it sounds like.
We'll either play belt scrollers or fighting games until 10-11pm, then switch to Super Smash Bros., and do that until sometime after midnight.

Last game of the year for me to roll credits on. Crow Country is a nice little game that is definitely worth a try. It gets the look and feel of 90s survival horror but removes a lot of the clunkiness (e.g. tank controls are optional).

Same top game as usual. I've barely played anything in the second half of the year. Double depression has been doing a really good job of ruining my enjoyment of everything since August.

I didn't know it was anime until much later but it was probably Voltron during its original US broadcast.
I know I watched a bunch of other things that were anime when I was young but I never even heard the word anime until a friend showed me Akira sometime in the mid 90s.

Played FFXI for about 7 years. I was interested in XIV 1.0 but had nothing that could run it.
I quit XI in 2011, gave my character to my (future) wife and she made new friends in XI. When ARR came around they started XIV. She joined them March 2014 and I joined them in April with the PS4 release.

Spooky Season again so I'm blowing through a bunch of RE games during Sept-Oct. Still new to the series so I've only played through most of them once.
Started with RE Remake, I skipped doing a Chris run my first time through the series. I still don't care much for it but it is slowly growing on me.

Found some journaling from my Sr year of HS recently. It's interesting to see how things have changed over 24 years.
Overall I'm definitely happier than I was back then, but man those self-esteem issues are relentless. If anything I feel like I've lost ground on that front.
