Agent Witkoff only understands Russian when it comes via his official FSB translator.
The Guardian points out that the document Trump is forcing Ukraine to sign was highly likely to have been written in Russian by a Russian. Then translated in a way not natural for a native English speaker.

If you’re willing to write a blank check to this country payable up to & including your life you shouldn’t have to worry about how you’re going to feed your family.
The simple truth is this administration doesn’t care about people. This includes the people that supported & voted for them.

@omibell.bsky.social also let's be honest. @karenhunter.bsky.social broke this down yesterday. Those 8 Dem senators did NOT cave because they wanted to stop the suffering of the poor. All these people get airline money. They caved for their pockets. Follow the money @urbanviewradio.bsky.social

@omibell.bsky.social they should have held out. They COMPLETELY squandered and snuffed out the momentum of the Tuesday elections. The Republicans were losing the narrative with their constituents and SNAP was on the verge of getting released fully in the courts. @urbanviewradio.bsky.social

Knowing that Mike Johnson is going to gloat publicly makes this even harder to accept. This clusterfuck reminds me of the old joke:

Q: Who hates the Democratic Party more than Republicans do?

A: The Democrats.

If Chuck Schumer was a stronger leader, he would have been able to convince most of these senators to hold the line.

I’m terribly disappointed in him.

Post-WWII econ stats increasingly lose value as the normal bell curve keeps diminishing. Robust GDP & capital markets growth & AVERAGES for income, consumer spending, corp. earnings, etc. are meaningless in assessing the economy when the figures are this WILDLY skewed to the top 5% in income/wealth

Congratulations to all the Democratic candidates who won tonight. It’s a reminder that when we come together around strong, forward-looking leaders who care about the issues that matter, we can win. We’ve still got plenty of work to do, but the future looks a little bit brighter.
