Since stripping the region of its autonomy in 2019 and declaring quasi-martial law, India has only deepened its militarized, colonial rule of Kashmir. This is the backdrop of the region's current conflict. We continue to be in solidarity with Kashmir.

While we disagree with them on many issues, we condemn the Senate's bipartisan McCarthyist targeting of CodePink, People's Forum and Qiao Collective for their critiques of US imperialism. Such McCarthyism then as now is wielded to distract from the US' own wide-ranging violence.

Koreans have fought many times against military dictatorships in pursuit of genuine democracy and have paid a heavy price—in Jeju and Gwangju. Today, we see them again show the power of the people and that it is always through mass action that democracy is enacted as a practice. Solidarity!

Activists from HK Anti-War Mobilisation, first formed to oppose Russia’s war in Ukraine, rallied at Israel’s Hong Kong embassy to demand a ceasefire and an end to US support. We applaud their brave and principled solidarity despite intense political repression in Hong Kong today.
