Six months ago, I didn’t know if I would ever run again after suffering Level 4 dog bites to my leg. Today, I completed the Galveston Turkey Trot, one minute and one second faster than last year. Like Beyoncé says, “I’ma keep runnin’ cause a winner don’t quit on themselves.”
