Been enjoying my life far away from the clutches of my abusive ex. Sometimes I get really angry if I check his social media so I try not to… he just… acts like he’s so nice, and he’s truly anything but. I can only hope that karma is real in his case, but I try not to even give him my energy. 4/4

Now tbh. I’ve been focusing on myself and my work. I’ve been really killing it getting back into my normal routine at home! I’ve been lifting weights 4x/week and running 3x/week, and practicing yoga daily. I’ve been doing almost all my own cooking which has been relaxing. Basically I’ve just 3/4

It’s been six months. I think about him less than I ever have, but it’s still not zero. The pain isn’t anywhere near as intense as it was a few months ago. I don’t feel stressed. Sometimes I get nostalgic about the times we shared, but it’s rare. I’m not even really interested in dating right 2/4

He was a little messed up but still in good spirits all things considered. The lesser nighthawk survived the ICU and was released! We caught the (preggers) black widow spider in the bird room and released it which was the most exciting part of the day lol. I can’t believe it was still there. 😬😬 3/3

With some white feathers and red eyes. Both hummingbirds from last time are still there doing about the same. There was a yellow rumped warbler who was doing well, and a new house wren. The house wren outside is still there. There was also a new California towhee who had been scalped by a cat! 2/3
