My other rule is, never cancel publicly, only privately, but accept publicly (e.g. a WhatsApp group or group email).

A public acceptance encourages others to follow suit; you don't want that to happen for cancellations.

When I moved away from my farming community hometown, I was shocked at how little people were taught about where our food comes from and how it’s grown. That’s apparent now as these tariffs loom. We need to teach each other more about our food.

It's going to be irrelevant soon. The main thing is to spread the message as far and wide as possible that BlueSky is the new (old / original) Twitter. The concept of Twitter, its usefulness, its place in the world is established. There's a need for it. People just need to know it's called BlueSky.
