I turned the heel of the other sock this weekend using a “HG Heel” pattern I came across on Ravelry. So far this one fits a tiny bit better and looks pretty cool. I still love them both though. Definitely sisters not twins as a fun experiment with colorwork and gauge.

Almost done with my first colorwork project, a sock. Not perfect but it fits which was the main goal. For those that have done colorwork, what’s your favorite color combo advice or color theory? #ShowMeYourKnits #KnitSky

Jumped right into #FinishItFebruary by finishing this hat I’ve had on my needles for a couple months. Tried to experiment with texture to make a cushy reversible hat from some naturally dyed merino. #ShowMeYourKnits #KnitSky

Trying to decide if I add back pockets to these #CoeTrousers I made for a loved one for the holidays. Today was my first time sitting at my sewing machine in over a month. I finished taking in the sides and hemming the bottom. Love this fun floral I got from #RecreativeDenver. #SewSky #GarmentSewing

Finally added these to the backstitch app too. These are some #DaughterJudy #CoeTrousers that I finished back in November. I wear them as soon as they are clean, so I’m due for another pair. My favorite part is the muted rainbow topstitching on the side seams and back pockets. 🌈

Here’s a closeup of them. The top shows burrito method for gusset using an extra layer of the jersey fabric for lining the zorb close to the body. The bottom one shows an exposed seam with just the 4D zorb fabric used as the gusset. I find the top one way more comfortable and less sweaty.

Looking forward to connecting more to other sewists/knitters/makers here.
My most recently completed knitting project was an Aros Sweater for my mini-me.
