Picked up the Cecil B. Demented blu ray on the day of release. And I didn't have to pay for it thanks to a birthday giftcard.

Been too busy this Halloween to post this as soon as I got it. You know how it is. Dressing up a Dr Warren Chapin with a Tingler sock puppet in a box, to both a Halloween anti-patriarchal-violence march and a screening of Halloween 3. Seems very apt I got this. New queer media archive addition.

Just when I was about to leave for the gym, I found a package on my doorstep. I wouldn't have gotten the UHD if it was just that (too uncanny valley for me), but it comes with blu ray discs. Absolutely a queer media archive entry.

I forgot to post what I found in the mail last night. I'm so glad it made it. I accidentally forgot to add my unit number to the order, so I was a bit worried. Basically another queer media archive addition. Absolutely worth a watch.

After the disappointment of not getting Scarecrow in a Garden of Cucumbers, I'm glad I came up to a new addition to the queer archive anyway.

I feel like I should've shared this long ago. Spite is not a sustainable fuel, folks. Yes, there are other fuels, like joy and compassion, in spite of them feeling like they're undeserved. They've sustained me nowadays far fucking more than spite did in 2016.

I knew I was going to come how to Sometimes Aunt Martha Does Dreadful Things, but the Alternative Miss World was a surprise (yes, I know, not the title on the DVD, there's history with that, and yes I know it was released in 1980 but that's also because of history, this was a 1978-arse event).

Came home from work to a new addition to my queer media archive, a documentary on the Alternative Miss World pageants. Now, I haven't seen it yet (rare for me) because I'm saving this and other pageant recordings I could find for a birthday get-together with my friends. 1/2
