Yes! That's the other key reason. And cognitive science shows that the brain privileges stories, so it's a great way to help students REMEMBER (aka learn) the history.

Yes!!! I mean, don't do the reverse and short change math and science, but yes to more social studies. For K-5, embed it in the ELA curriculum!!! #sschat
