ICE agents pepper sprayed a 1-year-old baby, then lied about it

That's where we are now

A BABY!!!

You have hit the nail on the head AGAIN, Governor.

Paying more and getting less is NOT what Americans want.
November 13, 2025 at 4:20 PM
The budget bill passed by the GOP did not extend the tax credits for ACA subsidies. This means the subsidies disappear at the end of this year, raising the cost of insurance by over 100%

No money, they said

They DID, however extend tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations

Trump's will is not inevitable

The majority of lawsuits filed against his administration have successfully blocked his policies

He is weak, not strong

Trump's proposed 50-year mortgages are a scam that benefits only lenders

With a 50-year mortgage, the buyer of a $400K home will have paid over $1 million in interest, compared to $493K for a 30-year mortgage

The monthly payments are not that much cheaper - $2481 vs. $2346 for a 50-year loan

THIS is why all the tech oligarchs gathered at the Trump inauguration

THIS is why they are willing to overlook fascism and cruelty

THIS is why they donate to the GOP

It's all about the money

Trump does not care about the suffering he causes Americans

During the shutdown he:
*Bulldozed the East Wing
*Cut SNAP benefits
*Admitted importers pass on the cost of tariffs to consumers
*Announced curbs on air travel
*Participated in a Great Gatsby–style party at Mar-a-Lago.”
November 11, 2025 at 10:03 PM
Hidden in the appropriations bill recently advanced after Senate Dems caved and ended the shutdown:

The 8 GOP senators whose phone records were seized by the FBI for Jack Smith's Jan. 6 investigation may sue the government for $500,000

Apiece.

Trump keeps insisting, falsely of course, that "groceries are way down"

Even MAGA isn't buying his lie

Newsom's Press Office is on fire!

One thing I could not understand is how returns on stocks could be so good under Trump when the rest of the economy seems to be deteriorating.

Then I saw this graph.

America (almost) last!

I don't care as much about individual Dems as I do about the Democratic agenda

If some "squishy" Dems are not prepared to fight, let's primary them (looking at you, Schumer, Fetterman)

We need Dems who are not afraid of power and are willing to use it

@rokhanna.bsky.social is one of them

China has a solar energy farm the size of Chicago and has taken the lead on renewable energy

Meanwhile, Trump's regressive regime just withheld approval for Esmeralda 7 project, “We will not approve wind or farmer destroying [sic] Solar,” he posted on Truth Social

America Last

Wasn't "Sleepy Joe Biden" one of his childish taunts at one time?

Karma...
November 9, 2025 at 6:51 PM
More Americans believe the government is doing a poor job on the economy NOW than during recessions, stagflation, and a pandemic

We know the deck is stacked against average Americans
November 9, 2025 at 12:05 PM
The prize for doublespeak goes to Trump’s pathetic Solicitor General John Sauer

When Justices suggested that Trump’s tariffs infringe on Congress’s right to levy taxes, Sauer declared “they are not revenue-raising tariffs”

That’s an impossible position because of Trump's own social media posts

Job market differential is the difference between the % of Americans who say that jobs are easy to get and those who say they are hard to get

Companies are not hiring because of all the uncertainty and chaos caused by Trumponomics

We don't trust Trump to do what's best for most Americans
November 7, 2025 at 12:02 PM
Bettors moved their odds of the Dems taking control of the House in 2026 up 15 points after Tuesday's election
November 6, 2025 at 12:43 PM
Yes. Remember the terrible world-wide depression that existed way back on April 1 of this year?

Before tariffs.

THIS is how the National Guard should be used.

Let them be heroes, not the villains.
November 5, 2025 at 11:28 PM
From G. Elliott Morris in Strength in Numbers - the best explanation I have seen for why Dems won big last night:

"[T]he best explanation for 2025 is that voters didn’t know what they were getting with Trump 2.0 last November, but now they do — and they don’t like it."
November 5, 2025 at 5:04 PM
It looks like the GOP is out of touch with most Americans

While they insist that prices are down and the economy is doing great, we know those are lies

I guess when people are struggling to pay the bills, they just don't care as much about "illegal aliens"
November 5, 2025 at 3:32 PM
After yesterday's pre-election predictions showed a 3% lead for Mikie Sherrill in NJ, she trounced her GOP opponent by double digits

Last night was the start of something very good for democracy in America
November 5, 2025 at 11:57 AM
Trump's party at Mar a Lago wasn't just "tone deaf"

It was a celebration by Trump of the suffering he has inflicted on millions of Americans, from those about to lose SNAP benefits to family farmers going bankrupt to federal workers working without pay

He thinks he can get away with it
November 4, 2025 at 12:51 PM
In the first 9 months of 2025, utilities have requested or received approval for a total of $34B in rate increases, more than double the $16B during the same period in 2024

The hardest hit states are in the South

Trump said he would cut energy prices in half within a year

He lied
