Watching UK news coverage over the last 24 hours, one would think Farage's Reform party had taken over the Conservatives as the 2nd largest party in local government.

In reality, Reform are 5th, coming some distance behind the Greens.

Lib Dems gained over 160 Councillor seats… 370 total! 💛💛💛

Hardest hit markets are the US and Japan (-18%) and the least hit is China (-4%). That’s partly because China is not nearly as reliant upon the US as the US is reliant upon China.

Powerful speech by Calum Miller MP
@calummillerld.bsky.social regarding UK’s support of Ukraine, as well as the Lib Dem response to Trump and Vance’s dangerous rhetoric and reckless actions. Trump is an unreliable partner; UK and EU must be prepared to secure our own national defense.

Since Jan 1 2025, there appears to be a shift in investor confidence from US stocks to European stocks. The markets hate uncertainty. Between on-again-off-again tariffs and the haphazard management of government by Elon Musk, Trump has sapped confidence in the US economy.

Not only did Rubio do nothing… he completely sold his soul with this spineless tweet.

Where do you sit on the socio-economic political spectrum? Below is a 9 Box: Y-Axis ranging from Individualism to Collectivism and X-Axis ranging from Left to Right. I’ve put Trump’s base into 5 of the 9 boxes… see comments for the breakdown of the 5 flavours of Trumpies.

@libdems.org.uk Can someone call the BBC and ask them to remove Nigel Farage from the Question Time permanent thumbnail? None of the other party leaders are getting free advertising…
