This is such a comprehensive and clear summary of all of the challenges facing women in academia. But so frustrating that, 35 years since I began my career, the problems are still the same: ‘Motherhood penalty’ in particular. ☹️
On THE Campus: Women in academia are promoted at far lower rates than their male peers and are under-represented in senior positions. To fix this, universities will need to embrace systemic change, says Rachael Jefferson @charlessturtuni.bsky.social

Embarrassed that I didn’t know about the Declaration of the Rights of the Child. The language is horribly dated it but it remains relevant today. 😢
