This isn’t a very seasonal recommendation but for #Worldbookday my son went as Nikolas from Matt Haig’s ‘A Boy Called Christmas’, looking just like this gorgeous Chris Mould illustration, and only one person guessed it! Not enough people have read this lovely book www.theguardian.com/books/2015/n...

There are lots of great things about @theul.bsky.social but I often think the single best one is the way the lights shine through the windows when it’s getting dark!

Last night I managed to squeeze in an evening in London to myself and I saw the glorious @nationaltheatre.org.uk adaptation of Ballet Shoes www.nationaltheatre.org.uk/productions/.... I loved the book so much as a child and they’ve done it proud
