I-94 through Mpls-StPaul is such a disaster. I've lost friends over my position that it should be removed and replaced with better transportation, housing, business and recreation options. It inflicts unrelenting ugliness and tragedy on our communities. Do we intend to remain car-dependent victims?

CBP nabbed my nephew's nanny yesterday. A Polish lady in her 60s that's been here 20+ years. Vile shit.

Lisa & her husband rode a tandem bike together for many years, but a health condition has limited her mobility.

If clear tonight - especially closer to sunset but after dark, tonight could be another big night of northern lights in Minnesota and elsewhere. #mnwx
Northern lights just now at Lake Harriet - and you can see reds and greens with your naked eye.

Wow. Can't say much else. The overhead corona was unbelievable. The most intense reds and greens. ❤️💚😍💃 She'll be dancing until sunrise.

I visited Franconia Sculpture Park over summer and it has been on my aurora photo bucket list ever since. That's where I went last night.

What are we doing? Seriously.
This shouldn’t happen. We don’t have to accept it.

As it should be...
To address safety issues (bc of drivers) my kids’ school recently changed the pick up process to get rid of the car pick up line entirely.

Caregivers have to park nearby & walk up to the blacktop to get their kids.

It’s calmer, safer, and bikes can still roll right up onto the blacktop.

There is nothing more heart-warming than the ENTIRE Twin Cities metro area running outside to capture the Aurora Borealis & share it with picture. I could weep. It makes me so happy.

Still going hours later. There seems to be a band, like a giant arch of red overhead, stretching from east to west horizons and tilting to the south. It's surrounded by the continuing green curtains. Remarkable.
