This lovely book is packed full of deep insights into wildness itself, its value to the planet and its inhabitants, as well as how humans can try and recreate more of it.

It's messy and probably not ready for prime time, but designing and stitching this Hindi vowels chart has been a fun way to get back into embroidery (and an effective way to actually remember the vowels) #embroidery

This is Oliver. He is afraid of people walking fast, or staring at him without saying anything, or saying his name in a voice that is not sparkling with affection. (Sadly he is NOT afraid of hunting giant spiders & proudly trotting thru the house with their remains, singing the song of his people.)

We'll be busy on 10/1 so we're getting a head start on decorating our house for October. It's our first Halloween here and we're really hoping to convince the neighborhood kids to trick or treat at our house by decorating to the hilt. I freaking love Halloween.

We moved into a house in Feb, one with wood floors. Our eldest cat is in absolute HEAVEN here and has taken to running and sliding on the wood floors for fun. It is quite funny to watch. Also, cat perches above radiators are quite popular for cozy naps.
