Sadly telling for the man who's been in charge of the church's humanitarian operations for years to state this as a juxtaposition. Purposefully emphasizing that humanitarian work and the work of the church are different things...

When they say their aim is still to make every district an urban/rural mix (i.e., crack blue SLCo into 4 pieces so there are no blue districts), that doesn't sound like it's "as the court has ordered"... Prop 4 defines & prioritizes the criteria they should be using (see image, esp. items b and c).

I'm not so sure that mirroring local demographics "encourage[s] racial integration" when housing in the US still has a fairly high rate of de facto segregation...
Doesn't encourage segregation, sure. But doesn't work against it like they're saying!
