It's very similar to a quote from Richmond Browne in Jerry Coker's Improvising Jazz.

RIP, Revik Dillon from Jack Killed Jill. An absolute punk rock powerhouse.

The novel it's loosely based on is so much better. It focuses on the pathos of ecological destruction without the sensational twist. I feel like it's ripe for a more faithful modern adaptation.

This film is required viewing for the coming era. If we’re to face violent repression, it will likely come from militias as the tip of the spear while DOJ sits on its hands and RW media cheers them on.

It's Lloyd Green on the steel. A legend. Check out his work with Johnny Paycheck on Little Darlin' Records (e.g. The Lovin' Machine) and with Charlie Pride on the Live at Panther Hall recording. So good.

You’re not just some reflection,
So never hide AGAIN!

Such a sweet song. Dio stands out to me for his positivity. In a genre that made so much of darkness, he often couched his in an essential message of love and self-actualization.
Dio. “Stand Up and Shout.” 1983. Some late night TV show called The Rock Palace — w/ clearly no stage security… never really thought of this song as a backflip bump n’ grind either #metalsky

They've been telling us that we don't matter, and now they're going to show us good and hard.
DNI Gabbard testified she maintains her "First Amendment rights" to post comments through personal accounts regarding views that might be different from her official work positions.

Yet law firms & lawyers (incl me) are being targeted by Administration for excercising their 1st Amendment rights. 🤦‍♂️
