Londoner, walks, rides a bicycle, drives a car, often lost.

Still no idea what an "eco-caramel coconut latte" is.
DfT/ TfL June 2025 letter : fare increase = RPI+1 (unless, I assume, Mayor/ GLA/ TfL want to juggle budgets some other way without DfT getting grumpy)

According to the #FarageGraph, Labour's ferry will transport "up to 10,000 cyclists per day" between Rotherhithe and Canary Wharf

According the Thames Clipper's ticket page, the single fare booked online is £5.90

Note that the Mayor below doesn't mention the fare.

Car clubs are commercial businesses, so I don't expect them to be subsidized, but I wonder too if boroughs charging £1000+/year per vehicle with the related admin efforts don't help the economics
e.g. RBKC www.rbkc.gov.uk/parking-perm...

Compare with TfL charge £140/year for a PH vehicle licence?

London's cycleway #C6 #CS6 blocked on the City's Farringdon Street by Ludgate Circus thanks to #Cadent gas works, approved by #TfL.

NB: cyclists must merge with motor traffic and rejoin cycle track past the works;
SB: cyclists must cross the motorised traffic lanes, and somehow cross Ludgate Circus

24 Oct'25, gone dark-o-clock:
> cycleway #C3 #CS3 8,260 cycle journeys today along London's Victoria Embankment, 332,449 since the 24th Sept reboot
> the #C6 #CS6 counter on Blackfriars Road is still FUBAR

My favourite objection to a cycle hanger was the "Poor Feng Shui" one, sub'd to Brent Council in Jan 2020.

The cycle hanger was installed.

8/ After an initial week of folk trying out the #Silvertown bike bus, the usage has settled down into a stable 120-or-so per day. It's rare for anyone to be left behind.

The bike bus is free for the first year, and contracted for three years.

7/ #TfL's #Silvertown tunnel report is out (PDF: content.tfl.gov.uk/silvertown-a...) ... and the half-arsed difficult-to-find cycle bus service averages 120-130 users per day.

#TfL wants "influencers" to promote it with tiktok vids 🤦

. @rantyhighwayman.bsky.social @nutty.bsky.social I see you're both posting #Silvertown bike bus stuff ...

... so where's your TikTok videos, or ain't you "influencers"?

Rummaging through the public contracts database, CoL has awarded Tracsis contracts to do various traffic counts, which might explain the camera. Omitting the GDPR notice, tho, was naughty.
