Liverpool are just not working hard enough, especially defensively. Compare two screen grabs when scores were both 3-1.
Here, less than half of the players even bothered to get back for Liverpool to avoid the humiliation of conceding a 4th (they conceded it a few seconds after this screenshot) ...

Incorrect. Arteta never said he wouldn't appeal, that's just nonsense. He said he hoped we wouldn't have to appeal and that like the Bruno Fernandes red card, PGMOL would rescind the card themselves. They didn't do that, hence the appeal.

The way it's always been is that as long as the defending player touches the ball first, then it's okay. How many late crunching tackles have you seen in the box not be given a penalty bcos the defender had a slight touch of the ball first?

Replay shows Saliba made contact with the ball first.
If that was a GK coming out to punch the ball and touching it just before clattering the attacker, not a penalty.
Or a defender with a last ditch tackle that barely touches the ball first but takes out the attacker, also never a penalty.
