The Apple IIe has multiple faults I have been chasing down. Multiple keys weren't working and the self test failed on RAM. I was able to identify the bad RAM chip by swapping RAM from the memory expansion card. Ribbon cable for the keyboard looks faulty, fails continuity and its also corroded

Found a Socket 7 PC at a local electronics shop two weeks ago, finally got an OS on it on Tuesday, more of an ordeal than I was expecting.

Also rebuilt one of my older computers in a new case. I bought all the internals at the end of 2014. Currently running Windows 10 because it doesn't support Windows 11. Put Manjaro on it as an alternative boot option

Been working on this XP computer for a bit, it also has Vista on it but the KVM I am using doesn't like Vista for whatever reason. I will probably swap Vista for 7

I put this Windows 98 computer together last year, had to replace some of the caps by the CPU, ended up putting Windows ME on it instead, works great now

I decided to update my BlueSCSIs over the weekend which went smoothly. I decided to benchmark them after the update. I noticed that one of the drives on the same SD card was faster. Turns out one of the hda files was fragmented.

Thanks @torbar for selling BlueSCSI kits. The two kits I ordered a couple weeks ago have been assembled and tested. One of them is going to have a permanent home in the IIcx I bought at the Houston "computer museum" liquidation sale.

Status update on the IIcx. New battery holder has been installed. 7.5.3 has been loaded onto it. It's able to get onto the network through the RaSCSI.

After a bunch of soldering my battery bombed IIcx boots from floppies. It won't boot from the BlueSCSI, it shows a happy Mac and reboots immediately. At least it can install the OS onto the BlueSCSI.

Waiting for Gigabyte to review my Exchange/Refund request.

Good news: I got my IIsi working.
Bad news: It just shut itself off after operating normally for a few hours and it cycles on and off if I hold the power button.

Side note: I finally assembled my BlueSCSI.

I keep coming across these two photos from my old job and they still make me laugh.

Good news: One IIcx is recapped and it has a startup chime!

Bad news: No video output

Sound familiar @Mac84tv 🤔

I am having way too much fun thinking of custom phrases for system alerts in OS 9.1.

I bought an SNES that was listed as for parts on eBay. It was clear that when I opened it up that something had been spilled into it. I was able to get it all cleaned up and it works great now. I'm glad that I finally have an SNES and it didn't cost me a ton of money.
