Post a game you remember playing that nobody else remembers.

Turns out an RTL-SDR Blog v4 and 80 feet of wire strung up around the ceiling of my garage can hear radio signals from pretty far away.

Upgrading to a proper ADSB antenna made a huge difference in performance for my feeder. 3x the number of aircraft seen, almost 4x the message rate. Range is not quite as dramatic but the new peak is 266 miles compared to 238 before.

This is pretty nerdy, even for me.

On a roll this week; designed and printed a custom bracket to hold my SDRs in place in an enclosure.

It’s pretty cool that I can design something to solve a problem I have and then just print it out on my 3d printer.
