Super excited getting ready for the Annie Owens solo show Vampire Summer in our gallery at Nielsen Arts in Berkeley! The show opens Saturday February 1st and runs until April 1st. Reception for Annie will be Saturday April 8th 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. Nielsen Arts 1545 Solano Ave.

This was the first watercolor I did about 10 years ago. I took a few classes from a woman named Wendy Yoshimura in Oakland. She is the absolute master of photo realistic watercolor. After that I fell in love with painting.
