I came down to Niagara Falls for a couple days to escape the extreme cold of Northern Ontario but it's -19c right now, so not a whole lot better. On a positive note, getting some #writing done. Working on the 1st book in my #cozymystery #series Blueberry Falls isn't prepared for a murder mystery!

A couple moose came to visit last month. They hung out in my driveway for a bit before heading across the road into the bush. Distractions like these 2 are always appreciated. Even if they did interrupt my #writing session. Living in the north has many advantages #farmlife #authorlife #cozymystery

I love walking at night with my dogs when there is snow on the ground. It lights things up in an otherwise very dark place, as there are no street lights or neighbouring house lights near me. #peaceful #recharging #writinglife #farmlife 💞

Yes I love writing the first drafts with pen and paper and I also like writing at the local coffee shop. It seems to help me get the words down on those days I am strugglinh with a scene.
