Phishing attacks have been insane the last few weeks. One of my tasks as Department Head is now sending a warning about the latest one every Sunday. (Why do they cluster on Sunday???)

I like a “grace period” of around 24 hours. I find it doesn’t affect my ability to give timely feedback, it cuts down on asks for extensions, and gives students some control. I tell them the purpose is to allow for “life happens” kind of stuff.
