Trying to make sense of the world one social network at a time, secretly think I'm funny, nerd-ish, opinionated, don't know how to shit-post but I try!
Which makes perfect sense, really, if you were LinkedIn. It's not about *your* success, it never was (or if it was, it stopped being a long long time ago)

Exactly this! I don't want to be a pity project, regardless of how seemingly "in need of help" I might be in the moment.

Reasoning, by it's very nature occurs within context, and within the context of the decision that follows from the reasoning - i.e., the context of the "analysis" and "synthesis".

So one _could_ blame Bunnings, but also the people who buy the new hammer that claims to be able to drive in screws!

And if they did that, I presume your argument would also then say, "people should first understand the nature of the tool they're buying, before they do".

And I think there lies the problem. As a people, we have lost the art of engaging with the nature of "reasoning".

Would this rewording appropriately retain the sentiment of what you're saying?

"A friendly reminder that a hammer is not actually a screwdriver. Once you internalise this, the damage to your drywall everytime you use a hammer to drive a screw in your drywall anchor will make much more sense"

Knowledge is never knowing the answer. It’s knowing the territory.
