I went to the WA Aviation Heritage Museum with my eldest grandson yesterday. Not a bad collection of non flying aircraft. Volunteers were a wealth of informatiin. Even this non aircraft enthusiast found it interesting.

I want to also remember a single man, Jean Baptiste Primet. He was born in Chalons on 2nd June 1778.

RIP Charles Huchet, Comte de la Bédoyère executed by the Bourbons on 19 August 1815, aged 21.It was his regiment, 7th Ligne that went over to Napoleon at Grenoble following his return from Elba.

Accused of being involved in a (mythical) plot to return Napoleon to France.

18 August 1966 The Battle of Lon Tan
Delta (D) Company, Royal Australian Regiment, 105 Aussies and 3 Kiwi Art observers were ambushed in rubber plantation at Lon Tan. In a 4 hour battle they held of 2,500 Vietnamese regulars and Viet Cong .
