It’s a bird, Kinnan, it fits in the floodcaller pile so all the U/G. It is just genuinely better than Archivist so, U/W piles, man it just keeps getting prettier.

Wan Shi is much more versatile and slots in a lot of other decks. I playtested about 9 games at the lgs on Kinnan with Badger, it never hurt but was a win more.

I had to use double sleeves. My 15th anniversary black lotus sleeves peel the graphic off if not.

I think the thought that it isn’t already decided that hybrid mana is going to change is wrong. I honestly believe the only reason it was t announced was to give MTGO and MTGA time to program and test changes.

And Consult as a 1c Thassa enabler or a quick search also hurts.

I think the most oppressive cards are: Demonic Consultation, and probably Rog. Rog as a zero cost partner is bad play and eases too many jumps in T1 with follow-ups. It simplifies mulligans and in a large portion of games acts as a mana source either by saving or enabling Amber.

Banning tithe kills a couple high cost commanders, and cripples Marneus. Banning Thassa doesn’t make sense as it’s never a 1 card wonder and then we’d just see Jace lines. Banning Rhystic would empower white/black even further. We’d be back to Turns and Tivit and less range in T/Cedh.

I think with the new outlay, bannings are unnecessary and just moving them to game changers is fine.
