Hi from Kyiv. It’s 1:22 pm and power is down and is gonna be for at least half an hour . But thnx gds for the gas stove , I made myself some green tea and light breakfast (and yes we have internet during outages ) . Generators are purring outside , I’m doing some writing , and how is your Monday ?

That is why I want Ukraine to be part of the EU and NATO. Not only because they are creative and we can learn a lot from them, but because they are decent, kind and empathetic people.
wanna share this hopeful post with you: this is a temp station Ukrainian railway workers set up in Fastiv next to the one Russian army destroyed . It has heating , place for people to wait for a train, and even tea, a small children's area and a Christmas tree🌲(!)

There are so many holes in DHS’s story it’s nuts. They say this woman was driving her boyfriend’s car, who they claim is undocumented.

ICE pulls her over, see she’s alone, know they are looking for a man, and still handcuff her while she screams “I am a US citizen,”.

Why is ICE harassing women?
