Jesus, on the other hand, often spoke in paradox and called for radical selflessness—love your enemies, turn the other cheek, be perfect as your Father in heaven is perfect. That’s undeniably powerful, but also incredibly demanding.

That’s a really compelling take. Confucius definitely aimed for practical wisdom—how to live honorably, harmoniously, and ethically in the real world, not some unreachable ideal. His ideas about respect, self-discipline, and social roles are all about what people can do, not what they can’t.
