Playing with #shaders today for battle transition.

Realy need to learn a lot still but got something done.

Now have 2 options like them both. The second one is a bit more versatile because i can use a black/white image to change effect.

Yes this is still #dungeondining. Just for this(and future) functionality i made a simple test scene playground.

Today detection by enemies.

white=unaware
yellow=noticed
orange=danger zone (stay to long and battle)
red=insta battle.

Happy to got area of view working

for the #goedwaregamejam i made some sprites, because of limited time and palette, they looked too much like "papers please" for my liking.

Starting to remake some assets.

Also previous assets are downloadable on to use as wish opengameart.org/content/face...

So #pixelart ed it up thought i would stop at 2646 possible faces, but continued

11 faces
8 hairstyles
8 bodies
7 heads
Now should be able to generate 4928
Now i really will stop and focus on gameplay
Some of the faces are weird, but i like it it adds to the quirkiness

I did not enjoy what i started for #goedwaregamejam so a night sleep, a new idea started anew.

Some initial dialog, prework on selecting "evidence"

You will need to send people to heaven or hell.

Working title "Send Dave to hell" subtitle (or not)

Its not much, but will have to do for now. also feels like totally not original for a theme "two points of view". But can't come up with something better and have to start somewhere

So stream done, and that was also the end of my days off. Unfortunately will be able to do less. But at least i could finish
* Enemy detection
* Moving distance from targeted enemy
* Shader for selected enemy

It is a lot of playing around last few posts, But i am enjoying using stuff i have not used yet in #godot #godotengine.

Today particles 🔥 🔥🔥(thanks to @kenney.bsky.social for the particle texture) for fire, also add a flickering omni light

Still working on the battle system, But also playing around with some environments/lights etc. Also still making sure everything works with gamepads🎮 when connecting.
