Assuming the average American is a three time trump supporter that is 100% informed on Trump and not slightly desperate for the change being promised is a sure-fire way to make sure you believe that the average American is pure evil. People often say “liberal elites don’t understand working class americans,” which means: “liberals need to accept that they’re all dumb evil hicks that just want to see blood.”
The liberals that are the problem aren’t the ones who don’t believe this, the ones who do are (like Chuck Schumer).
