When my dad passed I had people reach out with the whole “I’m here if you ever need anything or just want to hang,” and I started reaching out to see if people were really about it. No responses. I feel like I should be upset, but I’m not. I’m more like that yea, that’s what I was expecting.

2 things:
1) people at the movies have no theatre etiquette anymore, I literally had to tell a couple to stfu.
2) Bring Her Back was the most unsettling movie I’ve seen since Hereditary.

Idk what it is but our 6 month old pit mix has such a distinct puppy smell and I’m obsessed. I wish I could bottle it up and carry it with me. She smells so good!

The thing about being the oldest daughter is that people think you can handle big things. Dealing with my dad’s death has been so odd, trying to be the one my family can come to and be strong but still feeling like a little girl who just lost her dad. Death & grief are such a weird thing. #grief

On top of losing my fur baby of 13 years the day before, my dad took his last breath last night. I’m glad I got to hold his hand and tell him I love him one last time. I truly feel numb and like a shell of a person rn.

I hope heaven is real cause it hasn’t even been 12 hours without my boy and I’m so heartbroken and can’t wait to see him again. I’m some way shape or form I hope I get to love on him and play with him again. I miss you so much Bubz.

I’m normally on top of all my classwork but this week I definitely fell behind with my dad being put in hospice. Now I have 5 exams this week, & 2 lab reports, on top of regular homework. This might be the first time I’ll be pulling an all nighter in my college career 🥲
